There are no watches, warnings, or advisories at this time.

Northwest wind gusts to 40 mph, single-digit humidity, and very dry fuels will increase the risk of rapid fire spread over the northwest plateau this afternoon and early evening. There will also be elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions elsewhere across central and western NM.
Critical fire weather will spread to more of northern, western, and central NM Wednesday as northwest winds strengthen and humidities plummet into the single digits almost areawide.
Hazardous heat is forecast central and east on Wednesday, as high temperatures will climb into the low-to-mid 100s in the central valley from Albuquerque southward, and across the east-central and southeast plains. Readings will reach around 110 degrees in the lower Pecos River Valley, including Roswell!
Hot temperatures will peak Wednesday with near-record readings central and east. Storm chances return Thursday and especially Friday.
