Record warmth will develop over much of the region through Wednesday, especially on Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures will continue to warm with highs 15 to as much as 30 degrees above normal! Daily records will be smashed in several locations.
Temperatures will be 15 to 25 degrees above normal again on Tuesday with record highs expected for many locations. Temperatures across far northeast NM will be slightly cooler than today thanks to a weak backdoor front.
Temperatures will be 15 to 25 degrees above normal Wednesday with record highs likely. West winds will be stronger Wednesday.
Though breezy conditions will be possible much of the week, wind speeds will increase further on Wednesday and Friday. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will also be possible across eastern NM due to the warm, dry and windy conditions.
