A potent cold front swings thru the eastern half of New Mexico Saturday night into Sunday morning. A sharp drop in temperatures fills in behind the front, dropping high temperatures into the 40s and 50s thru eastern NM.
Temperatures will generally be near to above average through early next week, with highs reaching as many as 10-15 degrees above normal in several locations. A dry front will cool temperatures on Sunday, especially in eastern New Mexico where readings will drop below normal.
Dry weather is forecast through the next seven days. Temperatures will generally run near to above average, with the exception being Sunday in eastern New Mexico when a cold front will temporarily drop readings below normal.
