A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Central Highlands from 6 AM to 2 PM Saturday.

Strong northwest wind gusts will impact the area from the peaks and east slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the central highlands Saturday. This will lead to hazardous crosswinds for high profile vehicles.

Dry weather is forecast to continue through the end of the second week of December since the storm track will remain north of New Mexico. There is also a high chance (70-90%) that temperatures will remain above seasonal averages during this period.
