Storms will move over adjacent lower elevation areas during the evening, steadily decreasing in coverage and intensity overnight into Sunday morning.
Daily rounds of afternoon storms developing over the mountains moving over adjacent highlands and lower elevation areas by the evening continue through next week.
There is a marginal risk for storms to become strong to severe over eastern NM today. Main risks will be damaging wind gusts and large hail.
