Last Map Update: Thu, Feb 6, 2025 at 5:02:37 am MST

Abundant sunshine and well above normal temperatures will prevail today. Breezy conditions are forecast by afternoon.
Well above average temperatures combined with gusty west winds on Friday will help aid in the development of critical fire weather conditions in east central and northeast NM. Elevated fire weather conditions are likely elsewhere below significant snowpack.
Near record warmth will continue through the end of the week, before a cooler and potentially wetter weather pattern returns to the region next week.
Observed high/low temperatures and precipitation for yesterday from select locales across northern & central NM.
