Overview

A broad, slow moving autumn low pressure system brought widespread moderate to heavy rainfall to the region along with gusty winds at times. 40 to 55 mph wind gusts were reported at times. Preexisting dry conditions largely prevented any flooding issues with this rainfall and instead was beneficial to the region, providing relief from the existing drought conditions.

Area rainfall amounts ranged from over 6 inches to less than 1 inch.
