Overview

Severe storms moved across our area during the early to mid morning hours of Monday, August 10th. Large hail and damaging winds were the main hazards, although some areas did experience some heavier rainfall. The line of storms which moved down the Missouri River later formed into a derecho that raced through the Midwest, producing wind gusts over 90 mph in Iowa.
