A wave of stronger storms moving across the Mid-South today may track into north Georgia this evening, bringing the potential for severe weather into the early overnight hours. Damaging wind gusts and isolated hail up to the size of quarters are the primary hazards of concern.
In addition to scattered summerlike thunderstorms, a complex of stronger storms may approach portions of north and central Georgia from the west on Saturday, supporting increased chances for severe weather.
