After a storm left some of the region with ice on trees and power line, a strong storm system moved up the east coast of the United States. This produced a significant snowfall across parts of Central New York and Northeast Pennsylvania, but was generally less than had occurred on Christmas 2002. Below is a graphic showing some storm total snowfall amounts across parts of this area. The amounts plotted on the map are also shown below in a table format. Snowfall amounts are measured in inches.
