Severe Thunderstorms in the Mid-Mississippi Valley and Northern Plains; Excessive Heat in the Central and Southern Plains

Scattered strong to severe storms will be possible across portions of the Middle Mississippi Valley as well as across the central Dakotas. Heavy to excessive rainfall may bring flooding to the Mid-Mississippi, Tennessee and Ohio Valleys, and the northern Mid-Atlantic.
