Active Weather in the Eastern U.S.; Warm Weather and Critical Fire Weather Across Portions of the West

A storm system will pivot across the Carolinas, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast U.S. into Saturday with areas of heavy rainfall. Wintry precipitation is possible in parts of interior New England.
