Wintry precipitation is possible in the Appalachian Mountains with some ice accretions expected for the southern/central Appalachians. Some light snow/ice accumulations will be possible over portions of the northern Plains. Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the Lower Ohio Valley southwest into the Southern Plains.
