Areas of Excessive Rainfall and Severe Thunderstorms on Tuesday

Heavy to excessive rainfall is forecast over north Texas into Oklahoma Tuesday. Locally catastrophic flooding will be possible across portions of southwest Oklahoma. Flood Watches have been issued. Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible within a broad swath from the lower Great Lakes to the southern High Plains Tuesday afternoon into the evening. Read More >

A warming trend begins today with near normal temperatures expected across interior NorCal.
A rapid warm up to above normal temperatures is expected through the middle of the week accompanied by areas of Minor HeatRisk.
A return to unsettled weather by the mid to late week period brings isolated mountain thunderstorm chances to the mountains Wednesday and Thursday, then including the northern Sacramento Valley and foothills on Friday and Saturday.
As temperatures climb back up above normal, be sure to take precautions if spending extended time outdoors!
