Tracking Heavy Rain for parts of the Eastern U.S.; Severe Thunderstorms in the South

A strengthening storm will cross the mid-Mississippi Valley Thursday then pivot across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. Friday into Saturday with areas of heavy rainfall. Snow is possible in parts of interior New England.
