Today will be mainly dry with variable amounts of clouds and sunshine as a weak cold front drifts south across the Commonwealth. A few brief showers will still be scattered about across the region. Min RH values this afternoon will be in the 40s and 50s. An area of low pressure will move east along the front and bring periods of steady light to moderate rain across the region tonight and Saturday. Rain totals will be highest across the southern tier where up to an inch of rain could fall along the Mason-Dixon Line. Rainfall totals will be less than a quarter inch north of I-80. A noticeable uptick in heat and humidity will follow for the middle to end of next week.
