Fair, dry weather will continue through this Wednesday morning across much of Central and Southern PA, while mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers and thunderstorms will be found across the Northwest Mountains and Erie Lakeshore Region. A plume of anomalously high moisture will stream in from the west today, bringing noticeably much more humid air into the District. A cold front, currently extending from Central Lake Huron to Southern Lake Michigan, will push slowly Southeast and bring periods of showers and scattered thunderstorms this afternoon through much of Thursday before it clears the Southern PA border Thursday night. Much cooler air with low dewpoints will follow for Friday and Saturday. Thickening cloud cover will bring the next chance for rain later Saturday night into Sunday. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 336 AM EDT Wed Sep 16 2026 Today Tonight Thu Cloud Cover Pcldy Pcldy Mcldy Precip Type Tstms Tstms Tstms Chance Precip (%) 40 50 60 Chance of Thunder (%) 20 20 20 Temp (24h trend) 80 (+5) 63 (+7) 78 RH % (24h trend) 73 (+27) 100 (0) 78 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Precip Amount 0.07 0.06 0.11 Precip Duration 2 2 4 Precip Begin 6 AM Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing 6 PM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 2320 420 2330 Transport Wnd (mph) W 8 E 5 W 10 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 16240 1680 20970 Dispersion 5 1 5 DSI 1 1 Sunshine Hours 5 4 Max ADI Early 12 Poor 2 Very Poor 18 Gen Poor Max ADI Late 20 Gen Poor 3 Very Poor 26 Fair Max LVORI Early 8 9 9 Max LVORI Late 4 9 4 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
