Expect variable amounts of sun, mixed with mid and high clouds for much of the District the rest of this afternoon. A few showers and even a late afternoon and evening thunderstorm will impact primarily the western third of PA today. Some of the storms this between 4 and 10 pm will be capable of making wind damage, mainly along and west of Route 219. As the showers and storms move to the east and south, they will diminish in coverage and intensity this evening. A weak cold front will sag across the Northern Mountains of the state overnight, making it as far south as around Interstate 80. This same frontal boundary will lift back north as a warm front on Saturday. More showers and thunderstorms are expected Saturday and Saturday night in the very warm and humid airmass in advance of the front. The cold front will push through on Sunday, dropping the temperatures to well below normal for the first half of the new week. Dry air may lead to the RH dipping into the 30s and even down into the 20s during middle of next week. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 159 PM EDT Fri Apr 3 2026 Tonight Sat Sat Night Sun Cloud Cover Mcldy Pcldy Mcldy Mcldy Precip Type Tstms Tstms Tstms Showers Chance Precip (%) 40 60 100 20 Chance of Thunder (%) 40 50 50 0 Temp (24h trend) 49 (-4) 76 (+3) 40 48 RH % (24h trend) 99 (+3) 55 (-11) 100 56 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var W 9 G21 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var S 8 G19 S 7 G19 W 11 G23 Precip Amount 0.09 0.10 0.50 0.11 Precip Duration 1 3 10 3 Precip Begin 6 PM Continuing Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Continuing 2 PM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 330 5020 850 4970 Transport Wnd (mph) E 5 SW 25 SW 20 W 30 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 1320 110440 14450 129220 Dispersion 1 5 4 5 DSI 2 2 Sunshine Hours 3 2 Max ADI Early 8 Poor 32 Fair 51 Gen Good 16 Gen Poor Max ADI Late 5 Very Poor 75 Good 25 Fair Very Poor Max LVORI Early 6 8 3 6 Max LVORI Late 8 3 5 4 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
