A warm front pushing northeast across the state today will bring a few brief showers this morning, followed by a mainly dry afternoon as a weak ridge of high pressure drifts over the region. Gusty southwest winds will follow the passage of the warm front ushering in increasing warmth and humidity. The strongest wind gusts (20-30mph) are expected across the northern tier of PA between 9AM and 2PM. Farther south, there is a narrow window in which RH values could drop to between 30 and 35 percent this afternoon (especially southeast of I-81) in the presence of 20+ mph wind gusts. A Special Weather Statement may be needed across the south again today for the elevated risk of wildfire spread. The rest of the week will features increasingly mild and breezy conditions each afternoon. Multiple rounds of showers and a few storms will move across Pennsylvania, with the best chances/highest rainfall amounts being across the Northern and Western Mountains. Locations in south central PA could see a continued elevated risk for wildfire spread, based on whether or not much of the rain dissipates/misses the region with RH values expected to dip into the 30s (percent) each afternoon as well. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 302 AM EDT Mon Apr 13 2026 Today Tonight Tue Cloud Cover Mcldy Pcldy Mcldy Precip Type Tstms Tstms Tstms Chance Precip (%) 70 40 70 Chance of Thunder (%) 20 40 50 Temp (24h trend) 73 (+4) 57 (+7) 75 RH % (24h trend) 61 (+19) 97 (+22) 61 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) SW 9 G23 SW 5 G18 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) W 9 G23 Lgt/Var SW 8 G20 Precip Amount 0.08 0.09 0.09 Precip Duration 2 1 5 Precip Begin 7 AM Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 3400 540 3180 Transport Wnd (mph) W 25 W 10 SW 24 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 74800 4860 66780 Dispersion 5 2 5 DSI 2 1 Sunshine Hours 4 3 Max ADI Early 56 Gen Good 22 Fair 65 Good Max ADI Late 83 Good 9 Poor 77 Good Max LVORI Early 3 5 5 Max LVORI Late 3 6 3 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
