A cold front accompanied by a band of rain about 100 miles wide will moves across the eastern half of PA through the early afternoon hours. Additional rainfall amounts will be between 0.10-0.40". Expect the rain to be to the east of a Scranton to Hazleton and Lancaster line by 2 pm this afternoon. Temperatures will be dropping slowly for most of the day over a large part of the state. Only the southeast will rise a little late this morning before the front and rain move out, then they, too will stay steady or fall for the rest of the day. A few additional rain showers are possible in the NW today. Scattered light showers of rain and snow are expected for the ANF and perhaps over much of the Allegheny Plateau for Monday into Tuesday morning. But, any snow accumulations will be minor (less than an inch). A large area of high pressure will drift overhead on Tuesday, accompanied by very dry air. RHs will get into the 30s for most on Tues, and 25-30pct on Wed. Wind on Tuesday will be gusty out of the northwest, but light and variable in direction on Wed. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 1000 AM EDT Sun Apr 5 2026 Today Tonight Mon Cloud Cover Cloudy Mcldy Mcldy Precip Type Showers Snow Showers Showers Chance Precip (%) 30 30 70 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 44 (-35) 30 (-13) 45 RH % (24h trend) 62 (+16) 85 (-13) 55 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) W 9 G20 W 5 G15 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) W 10 G23 W 8 G21 W 6 G16 Precip Amount 0.06 0.01 0.02 Precip Duration 1 2 5 Precip Begin 6 AM Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 4480 1920 4610 Transport Wnd (mph) W 30 W 17 W 22 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 116480 28800 87590 Dispersion 5 5 5 DSI 1 2 2 Sunshine Hours 1 3 Max ADI Early 67 Good 39 Fair 57 Gen Good Max ADI Late 85 Good 31 Fair 86 Good Max LVORI Early 7 3 3 Max LVORI Late 3 4 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
