High pressure drifting off the Mid Atlantic and Delmarva Coast will allow a southwesterly flow of warmer and much more humid air to move into the Commonwealth beginning today and lasting through much of the upcoming week. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into tonight, mainly across the Lower Susquehanna Valley and the Northern Mountains of Pennsylvania as an upper level disturbance tracks Southeast from the Great Lakes. Similar timing and locations for showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur on Monday as the humidity builds across the state. Additional, likely stronger, storms are likely Tuesday and Wednesday, some of which could produce damaging winds and heavy rainfall. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 113 PM EDT Sun Aug 30 2026 Tonight Mon Mon Night Tue Cloud Cover Mcldy Mcldy Pcldy Pcldy Precip Type Tstms Tstms None Tstms Chance Precip (%) 70 70 0 20 Chance of Thunder (%) 20 20 0 20 Temp (24h trend) 62 (+3) 83 (+3) 67 86 RH % (24h trend) 100 (+10) 65 (+1) 94 62 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Lgt/Var W 6 G15 Precip Amount 0.41 0.23 0.00 0.04 Precip Duration 5 3 1 Precip Begin 6 PM Continuing 6 AM Precip End Continuing 4 PM Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 430 3260 410 3710 Transport Wnd (mph) S 6 W 13 SW 6 W 17 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 2150 35860 2050 55650 Dispersion 1 5 1 5 DSI 2 Sunshine Hours 4 6 Max ADI Early 3 Very Poor 17 Gen Poor 4 Very Poor 43 Gen Good Max ADI Late 3 Very Poor 41 Gen Good 6 Very Poor 60 Gen Good Max LVORI Early 6 8 6 5 Max LVORI Late 8 3 6 2 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
