Sunny skies will continue through the remainder of this afternoon with minRH generally 30-40 pct. We will see more clouds on Wednesday, with RH values rising several percent compared to Tuesday. Temperatures and RH continue to rise into Thursday, followed by a period of rain and potential thunderstorms Thursday night into early Friday. Gusty winds from the north and then the west behind the cold front Friday into Saturday will usher in drier air over the course of that 24 hour period. By Saturday afternoon, dewpoints are progged to range from the single digits in the north to the low teens in the south. Combined with temperatures in the mid 30s to mid 40s, this will yield min RH values in the 20s pct across central PA Saturday afternoon. By that time, frequent wind gusts above 25 mph will be mostly confined to the ridges of the Laurels and northern Alleghenies. If that's the case the overall threat for wildfire spread will be less than warning criteria, but we will keep a close eye on the threat and monitor fuel moisture assessments from our forestry partners. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 258 PM EDT Tue Mar 24 2026 Tonight Wed Wed Night Thu Cloud Cover Pcldy Mcldy Mcldy Pcldy Precip Type None None Showers Showers Chance Precip (%) 0 0 20 60 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 27 (+10) 54 (+9) 43 64 RH % (24h trend) 76 (-12) 33 (-2) 86 70 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var SW 6 G18 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Lgt/Var SW 8 G19 Precip Amount 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.05 Precip Duration 0 3 Precip Begin 2 AM Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 130 3380 420 2590 Transport Wnd (mph) S 3 SW 17 S 10 SW 18 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 390 50700 3780 41440 Dispersion 1 5 2 5 DSI 2 1 Sunshine Hours 4 3 Max ADI Early 7 Poor 22 Fair 10 Poor 34 Fair Max ADI Late 2 Very Poor 56 Gen Good 8 Poor 45 Gen Good Max LVORI Early 3 3 3 4 Max LVORI Late 3 1 4 3 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
