A weak and essentially dry cold front will drift south across Pennsylvania during the late morning and afternoon hours. The most noticeable change will come in the form of an 8 to 12 degree drop in dewpoints to rather comfortable levels by early this afternoon over Northern PA and by early this evening across the Southern half of the state. Min RH behind the front will drop into the 30s across the Northern half of the state today, and into the 40s across much of the southern tier of PA. Min RHs on Friday will be primarily between 30 and 35 percent, but winds Friday will be less than 10 mph. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible near the MD line this afternoon, but the chance of measurable rainfall in less than 20 percent for the bulk of that area. Expect most of the time to be dry through the end of the week. Thunderstorms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall are expected on Saturday in association with a stronger cold front. Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine with comfortable temperatures, low humidity and a light to moderate northwesterly breeze. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 303 AM EDT Thu Jul 16 2026 Today Tonight Fri Cloud Cover Pcldy Mclear Pcldy Precip Type None None None Chance Precip (%) 0 0 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 87 (-1) 59 (-7) 88 RH % (24h trend) 31 (-26) 89 (-7) 35 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) NW 6 G15 Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Precip Amount 0.00 0.00 0.00 Precip Duration Precip Begin Precip End Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 4510 420 5340 Transport Wnd (mph) NW 18 N 6 NW 7 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 72160 2100 32040 Dispersion 5 1 5 DSI 2 2 Sunshine Hours 10 9 Max ADI Early 63 Good 7 Poor 24 Fair Max ADI Late 95 Good 4 Very Poor 44 Gen Good Max LVORI Early 6 3 6 Max LVORI Late 1 6 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
