Increasing clouds will be accompanied by an uptick in moisture this afternoon with gusty southerly winds. Wind gusts may reach 20 to 25 mph and RH values could dip into the middle 30s percent. A Special Weather Statement is in effect for southern PA where fuels are driest. Scattered showers will overspread the region on Monday and southwest winds will accompany the arrival of increasing warmth and humidity. The strongest wind gusts (20-30mph) are expected across the northern tier of PA between 9AM and 2PM. Farther south, there is a narrow window in which RH values could drop near 30 percent Monday afternoon (especially southeast of I-81) in the presence of 20+ mph wind gusts. A Special Weather Statement may be needed there again tomorrow. The rest of the week will be increasingly mild and breezy each afternoon. Multiple rounds of showers and a few storms will move across Pennsylvania, with the best chances/highest rainfall amounts across the north and west. Locations in south central PA could be at an elevated risk for wildfire spread in the event that rain dissipates/misses the region with RH values expected to dip into the low 30s percent each afternoon as well. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 1246 PM EDT Sun Apr 12 2026 Tonight Mon Mon Night Tue Cloud Cover Pcldy Mcldy Pcldy Mcldy Precip Type None Showers Tstms Tstms Chance Precip (%) 0 80 40 60 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 20 20 Temp (24h trend) 55 (+23) 70 (+1) 56 74 RH % (24h trend) 78 (+1) 68 (+26) 97 63 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) SW 9 G23 SW 6 G19 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) S 6 G18 SW 9 G23 SW 6 G18 SW 9 G22 Precip Amount 0.00 0.23 0.08 0.09 Precip Duration 4 2 5 Precip Begin 6 AM Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 450 2370 340 4030 Transport Wnd (mph) S 15 SW 23 SW 14 SW 28 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 5850 47400 4080 96720 Dispersion 3 5 1 5 DSI 2 1 Sunshine Hours 4 3 Max ADI Early 38 Fair 13 Gen Poor 9 Poor 7 Poor Max ADI Late 14 Gen Poor Very Poor 10 Poor Very Poor Max LVORI Early 3 6 5 8 Max LVORI Late 4 6 6 5 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
