A ridge of high pressure across the eastern seaboard will give way to increasing clouds this afternoon and evening. A few late day showers/isolated thunderstorm are possible mainly across western PA, but rainfall accumulations should remain below 0.10" (and most locations likely stay dry). Clearing skies overnight could result in some fog formation, especially in the valleys in northwest PA, for any location that gets rainfall this afternoon. Temperatures trend significantly warmer into the early part of next week with summerlike heat peaking Monday and Tuesday. A strong cold front will bring showers and storms, some of which could be severe, on Wednesday. Cooler, more seasonable conditions follow for the end of the week and into Memorial Day weekend. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 226 PM EDT Sat May 16 2026 Tonight Sun Sun Night Mon Cloud Cover Mcldy Pcldy Pcldy Mclear Precip Type Tstms None Tstms None Chance Precip (%) 50 0 20 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 50 0 20 0 Temp (24h trend) 58 (+15) 82 (+8) 59 89 RH % (24h trend) 99 (+8) 48 (0) 87 41 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) SW 6 G18 Lgt/Var Lgt/Var SW 7 G17 Precip Amount 0.04 0.00 0.00 0.00 Precip Duration 1 0 Precip Begin 6 PM 6 PM Precip End 2 AM 8 PM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 510 4630 390 5920 Transport Wnd (mph) W 10 SW 10 S 9 SW 21 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 4590 41670 3120 106560 Dispersion 3 5 2 5 DSI 2 3 Sunshine Hours 7 11 Max ADI Early 27 Fair 28 Fair 33 Fair 62 Good Max ADI Late 8 Poor 62 Good 5 Very Poor 135 Very Good Max LVORI Early 5 6 5 4 Max LVORI Late 6 2 5 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
