A warm front extending from Western New York to the Central Mountains of PA will be preceded by several clusters of heavy showers and thunderstorms moving across the Central Mountains and Susquehanna Valley this morning Locally heavy rainfall and breif wind gusts up to 45 mph will accompany some of the storms. Showers and storms will continue to impact the area through this evening as a few upper level disturbances move southeast, and help to lift the warm and moist airmass across the region. 24 hour rainfall amounts through midnight tonight will average 0.50 to 1 inch, with localized pockets of very heavy rain over 3 inches. Periods of rain and cooler conditions will occur on Wednesday followed by an area of high pressure, that will bring mainly dry conditions with lower humidity Thursday and Friday. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 344 AM EDT Tue Jul 28 2026 Today Tonight Wed Cloud Cover Mcldy Mcldy Mcldy Precip Type Tstms Tstms Tstms Chance Precip (%) 90 50 60 Chance of Thunder (%) 50 50 20 Temp (24h trend) 78 (-3) 57 (-3) 73 RH % (24h trend) 71 (+8) 100 (0) 69 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) SW 5 G15 NW 7 G18 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) NW 6 G17 NW 6 G18 NW 9 G20 Precip Amount 0.35 0.06 0.07 Precip Duration 6 2 3 Precip Begin 6 AM Continuing Continuing Precip End Continuing Continuing Continuing Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 3620 460 4040 Transport Wnd (mph) NW 17 NW 12 NW 18 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 54300 4600 64640 Dispersion 5 3 5 DSI 1 2 Sunshine Hours 4 2 Max ADI Early 13 Gen Poor 36 Fair Max ADI Late 57 Gen Good 9 Poor Max LVORI Early 8 7 Max LVORI Late 4 8 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
