A slow moving frontal boundary will sag south across the Commonwealth today and tonight, before stalling out across West Virginia and Virginia for the second half of this week. A few more rounds of showers and thunderstorms will occur today, and again late tonight and early Wednesday. Locally heavy rain over one inch is possible, but most areas will see several tenths of an inch of rain over the upcoming 24 hours. Although scattered showers or a brief thunderstorm is still possible Wednesday night and Thursday to the north of the front, much of the time will be dry and will be followed by slightly cooler temperatures and most notably, less humid air for Friday and Saturday. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 430 AM EDT Tue Aug 11 2026 Today Tonight Wed Cloud Cover Mcldy Pcldy Pcldy Precip Type Tstms Showers None Chance Precip (%) 70 30 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 50 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 81 (+3) 58 (-6) 82 RH % (24h trend) 65 (-12) 100 (0) 55 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Precip Amount 0.17 0.04 0.00 Precip Duration 5 1 Precip Begin 6 AM Continuing Precip End Continuing 6 AM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 3570 440 4260 Transport Wnd (mph) W 10 E 6 NW 10 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 32130 2200 38340 Dispersion 5 1 5 DSI 1 2 Sunshine Hours 4 7 Max ADI Early 23 Fair 3 Very Poor 25 Fair Max ADI Late 43 Gen Good 4 Very Poor 56 Gen Good Max LVORI Early 8 7 9 Max LVORI Late 3 9 3 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
