High pressure along the eastern seaboard will give way to a series of weak low pressure areas and eventually a cold frontal passage Sunday night into Monday. This will result in several bands of showers and thunderstorms across the District beginning later this afternoon (west), and continuing right into early Monday. There is a potential for locally as much as 2-4 inches of rain late today and tonight where several thunderstorms track over the same location. A flood watch is in effect for portions of western Pennsylvania this afternoon into this evening. Some of the showers and storms also may contain brief, strong winds over 45 mph. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 247 PM EDT Sat Sep 12 2026 Tonight Sun Sun Night Mon Cloud Cover Mcldy Pcldy Mcldy Mclear Precip Type Tstms Tstms Tstms None Chance Precip (%) 90 60 60 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 20 50 50 0 Temp (24h trend) 62 (+8) 81 (+3) 49 68 RH % (24h trend) 100 (+2) 62 (-12) 99 47 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var W 5 G15 Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Precip Amount 0.57 0.11 0.06 0.00 Precip Duration 5 1 2 Precip Begin 6 PM 3 PM Continuing Precip End 4 AM Continuing 1 AM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 450 3530 460 4730 Transport Wnd (mph) SW 8 W 14 NW 9 N 9 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 3150 42360 3680 37840 Dispersion 2 5 2 5 DSI 2 2 Sunshine Hours 4 8 Max ADI Early 6 Very Poor 17 Gen Poor 10 Poor 55 Gen Good Max ADI Late 6 Very Poor 55 Gen Good 8 Poor 62 Good Max LVORI Early 7 9 6 5 Max LVORI Late 9 4 7 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
