Today and tomorrow will be the warmest days of the year to date with highs in the 80s and 90s areawide. Dewpoints in the upper 50s to low 60s will result in RH values dipping below 40% in many areas. A few spots in southeast PA could see RH values below 30%. Southwest winds will gust 10 to 20mph each of the next two afternoons under partly cloudy skies. A few showers and thunderstorms may develop across south central PA this evening and lift northeastward. Then on Tuesday, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop, especially in western and northern PA, during the afternoon and evening. Rainfall accumulations should average below 0.10" today and tomorrow (and most locations likely stay dry). Northwest PA could see as much as a quarter to half an inch. A strong cold front will bring showers and scattered thunderstorms on Wednesday, some of which could be severe in the afternoon and early evening.
