Heat and humidity remain in place today but will be pushed out for Saturday. The heat index will be just above 100 degrees in the Lower Susq and in the 90s elsewhere. Use extra caution if you will be outside. Showers and thunderstorms are expected again this afternoon and evening, pushing from northwest to southeast. However, coverage will be more spotty in the Central mountains than yesterday/Thursday. The highest coverage of storms will be south and east of Harrisburg. A few storms could produce brief, strong to damaging winds. Relatively drier air is expected Saturday, with relative humidities diving back down into the 35-45% range across much of central Pennsylvania. Slightly muggier air will return on Sunday, and thunderstorms also return to the forecast for Sunday, mainly during the mid-late afternoon and evening time frame. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 404 AM EDT Fri Jun 12 2026 Today Tonight Sat Cloud Cover Mcldy Clear Clear Precip Type Tstms None None Chance Precip (%) 30 0 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 20 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 80 (-3) 55 (-10) 84 RH % (24h trend) 45 (-24) 93 (-7) 33 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) SW 6 G17 Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) W 8 G16 Lgt/Var W 5 Precip Amount 0.05 0.00 0.00 Precip Duration 2 Precip Begin 6 AM Precip End 3 PM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 3920 410 5480 Transport Wnd (mph) W 20 W 9 W 14 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 66640 3280 65760 Dispersion 5 2 5 DSI 1 2 Sunshine Hours 10 14 Max ADI Early 48 Gen Good 12 Poor 70 Good Max ADI Late 88 Good 4 Very Poor 85 Good Max LVORI Early 8 4 6 Max LVORI Late 3 6 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
