A weak mid and upper level disturbance over the Middle Ohio River Valley and Central Appalachians will drift northeast across Central Pennsylvania this afternoon and evening, accompanied by a few showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Rainfall accumulations should average below 0.10" (and most locations likely stay dry). Clearing skies from west to east overnight could result in some fog formation, especially in the valleys in Northwestern PA, for any location that gets rainfall this afternoon. Temperatures will trend significantly warmer today through the early part of the upcoming week with this upcoming bout of summerlike heat peaking Monday and Tuesday. A strong cold front will bring showers and scattered thunderstorms on Wednesday, some of which could be severe in the afternoon and early evening. Cooler, more seasonable conditions will follow for the end of the week and into Memorial Day weekend. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 145 AM EDT Sun May 17 2026 Today Tonight Mon Cloud Cover Pcldy Pcldy Mclear Precip Type Tstms Tstms None Chance Precip (%) 40 20 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 40 20 0 Temp (24h trend) 83 (+9) 60 (+7) 91 RH % (24h trend) 50 (+2) 90 (-7) 36 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var SW 7 G18 Precip Amount 0.05 0.02 0.00 Precip Duration 1 0 Precip Begin 2 PM Continuing Precip End Continuing 8 PM Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 3510 380 5580 Transport Wnd (mph) SW 13 S 10 SW 21 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 38610 3420 100440 Dispersion 5 2 5 DSI 2 3 Sunshine Hours 6 10 Max ADI Early 25 Fair 5 Very Poor 78 Good Max ADI Late 55 Gen Good 6 Very Poor 127 Very Good Max LVORI Early 5 5 4 Max LVORI Late 2 6 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
