A pool of cool air in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere will drift east across Pennsylvania today into tonight. This weather feature will create enough, marginal instability for plenty of clouds and isolated to scattered afternoon showers across the Northern Mountains of Pennsylvania, the Middle Susquehanna Valley and Pocono Northeast. Rainfall will be under one tenth of an inch. Dry conditions with a mix of sun and clouds will occur across southern PA. Light north or northwest wind this morning will become northwesterly in all areas for the late morning and afternoon hours today with minor gusts into the mid teens. Min RH this afternoon will be mainly in the low to mid 30s, but may only dip into the mid 40s across the Northern Mountains where more clouds, a few light showers and cooler temperatures will be found. Tonight will be mainly clear and cold. Lows will vary from 35 or below across the Northwest Half of PA to the 30s to low 40s elsewhere. On Tuesday, the wind will be light and variable in the morning, then become Southwesterly around 5 mph in the afternoon. && Warren- Including the city of Warren 520 AM EDT Mon May 11 2026 Today Tonight Tue Cloud Cover Pcldy Mclear Mclear Precip Type None None None Chance Precip (%) 0 0 0 Chance of Thunder (%) 0 0 0 Temp (24h trend) 56 (-1) 31 (-7) 62 RH % (24h trend) 37 (+5) 92 (+13) 30 20ftWnd-Val/AM(mph) Lgt/Var Lgt/Var 20ftWnd-Rdg/PM(mph) NW 6 G16 Lgt/Var Lgt/Var Precip Amount 0.00 0.00 0.00 Precip Duration Precip Begin Precip End Mixing Hgt(ft-agl) 6710 310 5510 Transport Wnd (mph) W 17 NE 5 SW 12 Vent Rate (kt-ft) 100650 1240 55100 Dispersion 5 1 5 DSI 2 2 Sunshine Hours 11 9 Max ADI Early 117 Very Good12 Poor 39 Fair Max ADI Late 129 Very Good3 Very Poor 76 Good Max LVORI Early 4 3 5 Max LVORI Late 1 6 1 Remarks: ADI is Atmospheric Dispersion Index by Lavdas.
