Fresh Snow and Temperature Outlook Ahead of Christmas Day

...NWS Damage survey for 05/18/17 tornado event...

.OVERVIEW...
During the evening of Thursday, May 18, a severe thunderstorm moved
across northern Brown county, with a confirmed tornado touchdown
near the community of Cross Cut in northwestern Brown county. A
survey team from the National Weather Service found damage consistent
with an EF-1 tornado. The tornado lifted roof decking off of some
homes, destroyed some small sheds and lifted some metal roof panels
off of some barns. In addition, numerous trees limbs and some tree
trunks were snapped, with debris blown over 250 yards.
