A DRY WEATHER PATTERN PREVAILED DURING NOVEMBER...WITH THE
INFLUENCE OF SEVERAL HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEMS. AFTER A DRY FIRST

ACROSS TEXAS ON THE 8TH AND 9TH. THIS BROUGHT SHOWERS TO
EASTERN AND SOUTHEASTERN SECTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS.
LOCATIONS ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN SECTIONS RECEIVED RAINFALL
AMOUNTS RANGING FROM ONE QUARTER TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH.

AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVED EAST INTO TEXAS ON THE 20TH.
THE APPROACH AND ARRIVAL OF THIS DISTURBANCE BROUGHT SHOWERS
AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS OF THE 19TH
AND 20TH. RAIN SHOWERS CONTINUED OVER SOUTHEASTERN SECTIONS
OF WEST CENTRAL TEXAS DURING THE MORNING OF THE 20TH. ALTHOUGH
MOST LOCATIONS RECEIVED LESS THAN ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH...

DRY AIRMASS OCCUPIED THE REGION LATE IN THE MONTH. LARGE
TEMPERATURE SWINGS OCCURRED BETWEEN THE DAYTIME HIGHS AND
NIGHTTIME LOWS ON A FEW DAYS (40 DEGREES OR MORE AT SOME
LOCATIONS). FOLLOWING A COLD FRONTAL PASSAGE LATE ON THE
23RD...A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVED SOUTHEAST AND SETTLED OVER
WEST CENTRAL TEXAS ON THE 25TH AND 26TH. WITH CLEAR SKIES AND
LIGHT WINDS...TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO 20S FOR LOWS ON THOSE
DAYS. SEVERAL LOCATIONS RECORDED LOWS NEAR 20 DEGREES.
