THE TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR JANUARY AT ABILENE WAS 1.07 INCHES. THIS WAS 0.04 INCH ABOVE THE NORMAL JANUARY PRECIPITATION OF 1.03 INCHES. ALTHOUGH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WERE LESS THAN ONE INCH...THE COMBINATION OF THE FREEZING DRIZZLE AND SNOW CREATED SLICK ROADWAYS.
