Santa Ana winds will continue across the mountains and areas west of the mountains. Max gusts through Tuesday afternoon peaking near 50-60 mph.

Gusty Santa Ana winds will continue through Tuesday, then we return to wet and cooler weather on New Year's Eve into New Year's Day. Unsettled weather remains into the weekend, on and off light showers Friday through Sunday.

High temperatures peak Tuesday before cooling through the rest of the week.

Light showers early Wednesday before a band of light to moderate rain moves through the region Wednesday into Thursday. Showers late Thursday will likely taper off early Friday, with more showers possible Sat-Sun.
