High temperatures increase 8-15°F Wednesday.
High temperatures increase another 10-15°F Thursday, bringing temperature anomalies to 15-30°F above average for this time of year. This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.
Well above normal temperatures will allow for minor to moderate heat risk across Southern California late this week.
The upper ridge re-strengthens Sunday, setting the stage for additional daily record highs (and perhaps monthly record highs) across the interior and deserts next week.
