High temperatures for today will be slightly cooler than what they were yesterday.
Here is the total precipitation expected through this weekend, ranging from 0.5-1" for most of Orange County while the rest of the coastal and inland areas will generally pick up around 0.25-0.5", 0.5-1 inch for the Riverside and San Diego County mountains, and up to 3" possible for the coastal facing slopes of the San Bernardino Mountains, with amounts tapering down from northwest to southeast.
Here are the maximum wind gusts expected through this weekend, with the strongest gusts possibly exceeding 50 mph at times in the vicinity of Hesperia.
Temperatures will slowly cool into next week as cooler weather patterns move through the area next week.
snow levels will drop closer to 6,500-7,500 feet by Sunday afternoon and evening. Accumulations will be light with places such as Big Bear receiving one inch or less.
