West to southwest winds for the mountains and deserts this afternoon through the evening. Widespread gusts 30-40 mph expected with gusts locally to 50 mph along desert slopes and through mountain passes.
Isolated to scattered showers are expected to linger through this evening for areas west of the mountains. Less than a tenth of an inch expected for most areas with locally up to 0.25" in heavier showers.
Snow levels fluctuating between 5000 and 6000 ft will allow for light scattered showers to fall as snow in the San Bernardino and Riverside County mountains. Generally, less than 1 inch of snow expected.
Dry weather going into Tuesday through the weekend. Temperatures will warm up Tuesday and Wednesday, then cool slightly Thursday, before warming into the weekend.
