Cooler on Memorial Day with highs a few degrees below normal

Cooling trend continues Tuesday with high temperatures 5-10 degrees below normal for inland areas.

Gusty westerly winds will develop across the mountains and deserts on Tuesday, peaking during the late afternoon and into the evening. Breezy conditions are also expected Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from 1 PM Tuesday through 1 PM Wednesday for the outer waters.
