Isolated to scattered showers are expected to linger through Monday for areas west of the mountains. Less than a tenth of an inch expected for most areas with locally up to 0.25" in heavier showers.
Snow levels fluctuating between 5000 and 6000 ft on Monday will allow for light scattered showers to fall as snow in the San Bernardino and Riverside County mountains. Generally, less than 1 inch of snow expected.
West to southwest winds will weaken some tonight but are expected to strengthen again for the mountains and deserts Monday afternoon through the evening. Widespread gusts 30-40 mph expected with gusts locally to 50 mph along desert slopes and through mountain passes.
