Lighter more scattered showers expected tonight into Saturday morning.
The snow level remains near 6,500 ft through Saturday morning, then will rise to around 7,000 ft by Saturday afternoon. Additional snow amounts above 6,500 ft range from 2-5", locally up to 9" on the east slopes of the east San Bernardino Mountains.
Gusty east winds 25-35 mph with gusts to 40 mph in the High Deserts, along west-facing mountain slopes, and west of mountain passes into the Inland Empire.
High daytime temperatures Saturday will be near to 5 degrees below the seasonal average. Drier air coming in behind this system will slowly warm temperatures Sunday into next week.
