A series of systems are going to result in several weather-related impacts to occur throughout the week across the region, with heavy rain, mountain snow, along with strong and gusty winds for many locations.
Here are the latest rainfall amounts expected through Tuesday as the first system in a series of systems moves over the region. Amounts will generally range from 1-1.5 inches at the coast, to 1.5 to 2 inches for the inland areas, 2-4 inches for the foothills and mountains of San Diego and Riverside counties, with around 0.5-1 inch for the high deserts, and a quarter of an inch or less for the lower deserts.
Here are the latest snowfall totals from Monday through Tuesday, with generally 5 inches or less below 5500 ft, 5-12 inches from 5500-6500 ft, 12-18 inches for 6500-7500, and approaching 3 ft of snow for the highest summits within the San Bernardino Mountains above 7500 ft.
Here are the latest Winter Storm Warnings, valid from 10 AM Monday thru 9 AM Wednesday for the mountains of Riverside and San Bernardino Mountains.
Here are the latest Wind Advisories, for most areas except the lower deserts (away from Banning Pass)
