Areas of easterly to northeasterly Santa Ana winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph will continue along and below the coastal slopes of the mountains through this morning with isolated gusts to 65 mph. The winds will gradually diminish through the afternoon and evening.
Slightly warmer than Tuesday near the coast to around 5 degrees warmer inland. High temperatures for today for the coastal areas: 66 to 72, western valleys and inland Orange County: 70 to 74, inland valleys: 63 to 71, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 45 to 53, high desert: 56 to 59, low desert: 66 to 71.
It will continue to be very dry for inland areas through today with lowest daytime humidity around 10 percent with recovery tonight. Only a slight recovery in humidity on Thursday, but with weaker winds.
