Areas of northeasterly Santa Ana winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph will continue along and below the coastal slopes of the mountains into Wednesday afternoon with isolated gusts to 65 mph.
Slightly warmer than Monday near the coast to 5 to 10 degrees warmer for the mountains. High temperatures for today for the coastal areas: 66 to 71, western valleys and inland Orange County: 67 to 71, inland valleys: 59 to 67, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 41 to 50, high desert: 52 to 55, low desert: 64 to 69.
It will continue to be very dry for inland areas through Wednesday with lowest daytime humidity around 10 percent with poor overnight recovery. Only a slight recovery in humidity on Thursday, but with weaker winds.
