Several degrees cooler than Thursday for the deserts into the mountains and several degrees warmer for the coast and valleys. High temperatures Friday for coastal areas: 65 to 71, western valleys and inland Orange County: 70 to 74, inland valleys: 74 to 77, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 49 to 64, high desert: 64 to 67, low desert: 81 to 83.
Warming trend begins. High temperatures in the upper 60s for the beaches, low 70s for the coast and western valleys, mid to upper 70s for the San Diego Valleys, upper 70s to low 80s for the IE, upper 50s to upper 60s for the mountains between 4000-7000ft, low 70s for the high desert, and mid 80s for the low deserts.
A low pressure system from the northwest will bring patchy drizzle this morning and a chance for light showers for late today through tonight.
Red Flag Warning in effect from 9 AM Friday through 8 PM Friday for the San Bernadino County mountains and the Inland Empire. Areas of gusty north winds, strongest and most widespread during the day on Friday.
Winds could gust greater than 30mph for some areas.
