Temperatures trend up a few degrees for Tuesday. Highs top out around 105-112 in the deserts, the low 80s to mid 90s for the mountains, 100-105 for the Inland Empire, mid 90s for the inland valleys, and upper 70s to low 80s for the coasts.
Temperatures really pick up by Wednesday. High temperatures for Wednesday for San Diego County from around 80 near the coast to the upper 90s to 105 for the inland valleys, for Orange County from the lower to mid 80s near the coast to the upper 90s inland, for the Inland Empire 100 to 110, for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys in the mid 90s to 102, for the lower deserts 110 to 115, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet in the upper 70s to lower 90s.
A few to around 5 degrees warmer than Wednesday, locally 10 to 15 degrees above average. High temperatures for Thursday for San Diego County from the 80s near the coast to 102 to 108 for the inland valleys, for Orange County from 80s near the coast to the upper 90s to 102 inland, for the Inland Empire 104 to 112, for the Apple and Lucerne Valleys in the upper 90s to 106, for the lower deserts 112 to 118, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet in the 80s to mid 90s.
The HeatRisk is expected to peak around Thursday with widespread major or greater HeatRisk.
