Showers this evening through Friday will bring generally light rainfall to the coasts and valleys with higher amounts expected for coastal slopes of the mountains. 0.1-0.5" for lower elevations and 0.25-1"for mountains (1-3" for localized spots in the San Bernardino County Mtns) with lowest amounts in San Diego County.
Strong westerly wind gusts expected for the deserts and desert slopes of the mountains with the strongest winds during the daytime on Friday. Widespread gusts of 35 mph expected with gusts of 45-55 mph for the desert slopes of the mountains and wind prone locations.
Slightly below average for the coasts and valleys and slightly above average for the deserts. For the coastal areas: 61 to 65, western valleys and inland Orange County: 61 to 65, inland valleys: 57 to 63, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 46 to 57, high desert: 60 to 69, low desert: 73 to 78.
Slightly below normal for the coasts and valleys and slightly above normal for the deserts. For the coastal areas: 60 to 65, western valleys and inland Orange County: 63 to 67, inland valleys: 62 to 67, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 50 to 61, high desert: 59 to 63, low desert: 74 to 78.
