Map of forecast low temperatures for Thursday through Saturday mornings, Jan 16-18, 2025. With the current dry airmass in place, effective radiational cooling will allow temperatures to drop into the upper 20 and lower 30s for wind sheltered valleys in San Diego and Riverside Counties Thursday morning. Temperatures will be slightly milder Friday morning for most San Diego County valleys but will still drop near freezing for areas of the Inland Empire in Riverside County.
Cooler for most areas as onshore winds pick up in the afternoon. Temperatures mainly near average.
Humidity remains low after Santa Ana winds weaken throughout the region, with values down to 11-15%. Humidity will increase quickly Thursday afternoon as onshore flow returns.
Humidity recovers significantly as onshore winds increase humidity.
