Excessive Heat Warnings in effect through 8 PM Monday for the Coachella Valley and San Diego Deserts, the Inland Empire, San Diego Valleys and Foothills, and Santa Ana Mountains. Heat Advisories in effect through 8 PM Monday for the mountains in San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
Slightly cooler than Sunday, but still 15 to 20 degrees above average for portions of the mountains, deserts, and inland valleys. High temperatures for today for the coast and valleys from the lower to mid 70s near the coast to the mid 90s to 104 for the inland valleys, for the Apple and Lucerne Valley mostly in the 90s, in the lower deserts 108 to 114, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet in the mid 70s to lower 90s.
A few to around 5 degrees cooler than Monday, 10 to 15 degrees above average for portions of the mountains, deserts, and inland valleys. High temperatures for Tuesday for the coast and valleys from the lower to mid 70s near the coast to the 90s for the inland valleys, for the Apple and Lucerne Valley in the upper 80s to mid 90s, in the lower deserts 106 to 112, and for the mountains for elevations from 4500 to 7000 feet in the 70s and 80s.
