Light to moderate rainfall is currently being observed over Orange County and the Inland Empire. This wave of rain will sweep through the region tonight. A heavy shower or thunderstorm is possible for Southern San Diego County between 8 PM and 12 AM tonight. Isolated flash flooding and minor urban flooding are possible. An isolated shower Friday afternoon cannot be ruled out for inland areas as the system exits the region.
Snow levels will continue to hover around 4000 feet and will drop to near 3000 feet tonight into Friday morning.
