Warmer than Sunday for the mountains with the coast and valleys a few degrees cooler. High temperatures for today for the coastal areas: 64 to 71, western valleys and inland Orange County: 69 to 74, inland valleys: 68 to 74, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 55 to 63, high desert: 65 to 70, low desert: 72 to 76.
Much cooler than Monday for inland areas, as much as 10 to 15 degrees cooler for the mountains and high desert. High temperatures for Tuesday for the coastal areas: 65 to 70, western valleys and inland Orange County: 67 to 71, inland valleys: 61 to 68, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 40 to 51, high desert: 53 to 58, low desert: 67 to 71.
Areas of strong and gusty north to northeasterly Santa Ana winds will develop on Tuesday morning for Orange and southwestern San Bernardino Counties spreading into San Diego County for Tuesday night and Wednesday as the winds become more northeasterly. Winds along and below the coastal slopes of the mountains will gust to 55 to 65 mph with isolated stronger gusts. The winds are expected to diminish Wednesday night.
