Isolated showers and storms are expected for the mountains this afternoon, mainly near Big Bear Lake. Any storms that develop may produce heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
High temperatures for Thursday. Temperatures remain hot. Cooler weather expected this weekend. Some cooling on Friday will allow for moderate HeatRisk in the coastal basin. Areas of major HeatRisk linger in the low deserts.
