Santa Ana winds will bring gusty winds and elevated to critical fire weather conditions to inland areas Saturday evening and Sunday. Winds 25-35 mph gusting to 55 mph for Inland Empire, Orange County, Santa Ana Mtns, San Bernardino County Mtns. Winds 10-20 mph gusting to 35 mph in San Diego/Riverside County Mountains and Valleys.
Slightly cooler than normal in the mountains and deserts. For the coastal areas: 63 to 68, western valleys and inland Orange County: 65 to 69, inland valleys: 60 to 66, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 40 to 50, high desert: 50 to 53, low desert: 63 to 68.
Below average morning temperatures will allow for patchy frost in wind-sheltered valleys of Riverside and San Diego Counties. For the coastal areas: 40 to 45, western valleys and inland Orange County: 38 to 45, inland valleys: 34 to 43, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 22 to 34, high desert: 24 to 32, low desert: 35 to 45.
Near normal to 10 degrees below normal. For the coastal areas: 62 to 67, western valleys and inland Orange County: 64 to 67, inland valleys: 57 to 64, mountains between 4000 ft and 7000 ft: 38 to 47, high desert: 49 to 52, low desert: 61 to 65.
Weak to moderate Santa Ana winds will continue for inland areas through midweek. These winds in combination with critically low relative humidity values will result in elevated to critical fire weather conditions for inland areas.
