Gusty northeast to easterly Santa Ana winds will diminish from north to south today. The strongest winds are expected into this morning for the San Diego County mountains with gusts to 60 to 70 mph and isolated gusts to 80 mph.
Continued very dry today with lowest humidity for inland areas around 10 percent.
A few degrees cooler than Thursday for lower elevations with mountains above 6000 feet 5 to 10 degrees warmer. High temperatures for today for the coastal areas: 65 to 70, western valleys and inland Orange County: 68 to 71, inland valleys: 62 to 69, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 46 to 54, high desert: 56 to 59, low desert: 65 to 70.
A few degrees cooler for the coast with the mountains and deserts of Riverside and San Diego Counties around 5 degrees warmer than Friday. High temperatures for Saturday for the coastal areas: 62 to 67, western valleys and inland Orange County: 66 to 69, inland valleys: 64 to 69, mountains between 4000 feet and 7000 feet: 47 to 57, high desert: 56 to 60, low desert: 69 to 73.
Areas of northeasterly Santa Ana winds for Saturday night and Sunday with the stronger gusts along and below the coastal slopes of the mountains to 40 to 50 mph.
