Periods of breezy winds are expected Wednesday afternoon and evening. Peak wind gusts of 35-45 mph expected on the desert mountain slopes into the deserts.

Cooler high temperatures Wednesday with temperatures in the valleys 4 to 8 degrees cooler than Tuesday.

Temperatures begin to warm Thursday along the coast and in the valleys while the mountains and deserts continue to cool slightly.

The greatest warming is expected Friday for the inland valleys onto the lower coastal mountain slopes. Additional warming is expected through the weekend.
