Winter 2025-2026 had the highest number of days with high temperatures of 80 degrees or more at San Diego International Airport with 12 total days, beating the previous record of 10 days in Winter 2014-2015. This is more than the last 5 winters combined, which saw a total of 11 days with highs of 80 or more.

High temperatures drop a few degrees into Saturday, though remain significantly above average. Moderate HeatRisk continues in the Inland Empire and lower deserts.
