Areas of Santa Ana winds will continue today with gusts to 60 to 70 mph and isolated gust to 70 to 80 mph in the San Diego County mountains. The strongest winds are expected from after sunrise this morning into the afternoon.
While there is still some uncertainty in rainfall amounts this weekend, there is an 80-90% of at least 1" for the coasts to the mountains spread out over a 72 hour period ending 4 am Tuesday, and a 75-90% chance of at least 2" of rain on the coastal slopes of the mountains over the same time frame.
The first significant snowfall of the season is expected this weekend into early next week with snow levels falling as low as 3500-4000 ft.
