Fire Weather Planning Forecast for SW VA...SE WV and NW NC

.DISCUSSION...

A moist airmass and approaching cold front will trigger
shower and thunderstorm this afternoon into Saturday.
Rainfall totals look to be in the 0.25 to 0.50 inch rage
for many locations and some parts of the western mountains
could have an inch plus. High pressure brings drier weather
for early next week.

Sunday and Monday will be the next days that are more favorable
for burning.
