Overview

A strong cold front moved slowly through the forecast area during the day of October 23rd. Strong low level winds and just enough instability allowed for a quasi-linear area of strong to severe storms to form, producing several tornadoes and damaging winds. In addition, heavy rains, despite previously dry conditions, led to flash flooding.

It was a busy afternoon and evening with 15 warnings issued, 4 Tornado, 7 Severe Thunderstorm and 4 Flash Flood .
