Series of Pacific Northwest Storms; Wintry Mix in the Northeast and Parts of the Mid-Atlantic

A series of Pacific storm systems will cross the Northwest U.S. this week bringing gusty winds, high surf, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow. Another storm system will continue sweeping through the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Tuesday with a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain making for hazardous travel. Read More >

High Winds Found Tuesday April 5th

Strong winds were found across much of the area on Tuesday, April 5th as a cold front pushed across the region. The highest winds were found across portions of the Cody Foothills and across Johnson county. A High Wind Warning was in effect for the these two areas to account for this very strong winds during the day and evening Tuesday, with wind gusts over 60 MPH recorded. Many other areas saw wind gusts of 40 to 50+ MPH. Check out the details below for all the wind gusts over 40 MPH, or click here.
