Heavy Rain and Snow from Central California to the Northern Rockies through Midweek; Ice and Snow Returns Later This Week to the Mid-Atlantic and New England

Moderate to heavy rain with a risk for flooding will continue for northern and central California, with heavy mountain snow in the Sierras, southern Cascades, and northern Rockies through midweek. Low pressure tracking through the Ohio Valley and off the Northeast U.S. coast Wednesday into Thursday will bring moderate to locally heavy rain south of it's track and ice and snow to the north.
