Winter Storms in the Central and Eastern U.S.; Heavy Rain in the Southeast

A winter storm will bring heavy snow and ice to the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic through Wednesday. Significant ice is forecast for the Central Appalachians. Another winter storm will bring heavy snow and ice to the Central Plains today.
