A series of Pacific storm systems will continue to impact the western U.S. into this weekend with periods of strong to damaging winds, high surf, heavy lower elevation rain, and heavy mountain snow. A moist pacific storm and associated cold front returned snow to western and portions of central Wyoming Friday afternoon through the day Saturday. 1 to 2 FEET of snow fell across the far western mountains in Wyoming with almost a foot of snow in portions of Jackson Hole. Most areas east of the Divide saw little or no snowfall from this system, except the Casper area where 4 to 6 inches of wet snow fell on Saturday.
