Heavy rain and flash flooding are possible across portions of the Southwest through Friday, where Flood Watches are in effect. Overall, September saw record warmth and very dry conditions. Persistant high pressure brought very warm conditions across most sites for September 2015. All sites experienced their top 5 warmest Septembers, with Buffalo, Greybull, Lander, and Riverton Airport seeing the warmest Septembers on record. Little precipitation fell during September. Buffalo, Greybull, and Riverton Airport had at least their driest or second driest September on record.
