A strong cold front will continue pushing through the Intermountain West and Four Corners through Saturday, bringing heavy snow to the Rockies and gusty winds. Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for portions of the Utah, Colorado, and Montana mountains. The September 2015 climate summaries for Big Piney, Buffalo, Casper, Greybull, Lake Yellowstone, Lander, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Worland are now available online. Overall, September saw record warmth and very dry conditions. Persistant high pressure brought very warm conditions across most sites for September 2015. All sites experienced their top 5 warmest Septembers, with Buffalo, Greybull, Lander, and Riverton Airport seeing the warmest Septembers on record. Little precipitation fell during September. Buffalo, Greybull, and Riverton Airport had at least their driest or second driest September on record.
