Gusty Winds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast; Atmospheric River to Impact the Northwest
Gusty winds are expected from portions of the Mid-Atlantic into the Northeast through the night following the system that brought rain to the area. An atmospheric river will move into the Northwest late today into Saturday bringing moderate to heavy rainfall, mountain snow, windy conditions, and high surf to the area over the weekend.

Light to Moderate Snow Continues Today, Bitter Cold Follows Tonight through Wednesday
SYNOPSIS: Areas of light to moderate snow will continue across most of Wyoming today, and across the southern half of the state thru this evening. Snow will taper off across the area overnight, leaving bitter cold temperatures across the area through Wednesday. Low temperatures will be mostly from -15F to -25F across north and central Wyoming Tuesday morning.

...SNOWFALL REPORTS...
A Winter weather system moved through the region beginning Saturday
evening with snowfall occurring across much of western WY through
early Monday evening. Greatest snowfall amounts occurred across the
western WY mountains and higher elevations in Yellowstone National
Park. Accumulating snow was also measured across the Western
Valleys, most notably Star Valley on Sunday. There were also a few
isolated reports around Casper and in Johnson County, as well as the
Cody Foothills, most of which fell on Monday with convective snow
showers that occurred off an on through the afternoon.
