Snow Across the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast; Unsettled Weather in the West

Light to moderate snow will continue into Saturday over the Great Lakes, Central Appalachians, and Northeast. This weekend into next week, a series of atmospheric rivers will bring gusty winds, periods of heavy rain, and mountain snow to northern California and the Pacific Northwest. This is the Situational Awareness Display (SAD) which consists of three flat screen TVs. Forecasters can display/monitor weather data, local media broadcasts, and national media coverage, especially during high impact weather events. Webcams from various private and government sites also enable forecasters to view real-time weather conditions throughout our CWA.
