Powerful Pacific Storm to Continue Impacting Northern California; Heavy Snow in the Appalachians and Portions of the Northeast

A strong atmospheric river will continue to impact northern California with heavy rain and life-threatening flooding through Friday. The following photographs were taken by SKYWARN Weather Spotter Michael Farber. The water spout was on Sandy Hook Bay near the Naval Station in Earle, New Jersey. The water spout was observed along the east side of the Earle piers traveling east-northeast towards Sandy Hook.
