Winter 2015-2016 was officially one of the warmest winters on record

for our region, and a large part of the country!

Evansville ended up with their 2nd warmest winter on record...with only the winter of 1931-1932 being warmer. Paducah and Cape Girardeau finished tied for the 3rd warmest winter on record. This is largely due to the record warm December we experienced. January saw near normal to slightly above normal temperatures and February saw temperatures up to 3 degrees above normal. Quite a contrast from the past 2 winters when we saw below normal temperatures for the winter season!
