Tornado Tracks 2016

2016 Tornadoes in Paducah Forecast Area:

Here is a summary of all of the 2016 tornadoes in our area. There were 27 total, with the strongest being the EF-3 tornado that hit portions of Graves and Marshall Counties in Kentucky, including the north side of Mayfield, on May 10th. All but 1 of the tornadoes occurred in the months of March, April, May, or July. This was the brief EF-0 tornado that touched down in Marshall County, KY on the day after Christmas. The largest event was on May 10th when 9 tornadoes touched down. For the year, our Kentucky counties experienced the most tornadoes with 19 total, while Missouri saw none. Below you will find an interactive map showing all of the tornado tracks for the year. If you zoom in on a certain tornado track, you can view more detailed information. The second tab (Statistics/Tables) has more information regarding the tornadoes in 2016.
