Wind & Hail:
Clusters of severe storms in northeast Arkansas moved to the east-northeast through the afternoon,
affecting the Missouri Bootheel and western Kentucky. Damaging winds were the main threat. Little if
any large hail was reported.
Wind
The wind damage was associated with lines of thunderstorms, such as the lines shown in this radar image from the Fort Campbell, KY radar. About the time of this radar image at 2 P.M. CDT, tree and roof damage was occurring near Greenville, KY. A mobile home was demolished just south of Owensboro.
